TechSalesNow is operated by Harrington Enterprises LLC, which is responsible for the personal information described here. A job search runs on personal information: who you are, what you have done, who you are talking to. This page says exactly what TechSalesNow collects, what it does with it, who else touches it, and how you get it back or make it go away. Nothing here is hidden in a definitions section.

1What we collect

Only what the product needs to run your search:

  • Account: your name, email address and a password (stored only as a hash by our authentication provider).
  • Phone number, when you give it, together with the time you accepted the disclosure about calls and texts. A number without that record is never called or texted.
  • Your record: resume files and the text read out of them, experience entries, target titles and locations, compensation expectations, and the answers you type during onboarding.
  • Your pipeline: the roles you pursue, applications, contacts you reach, messages you approve, calls and touches you log, interviews and mock-interview answers.
  • If you connect LinkedIn: a reference to the connected account, the consent you accepted and when, the status LinkedIn reports for the account, and a log of each send and read. Never your LinkedIn password or session.
  • Usage: which features you run and roughly what each model call cost us, so the plan can be priced honestly; and product analytics events tied to your account id, not to advertising identifiers.
  • The free audit: the email, phone, target role and location you enter, the audit we build, and a salted hash of your network address used only to limit abuse.

2What we do with it

We use your information to run the product for you: to score roles against your record, draft messages from it, map the people at a company, keep your follow-ups on the right day, prepare you for interviews, send you the product's own emails (confirmation, receipts, the weekly report you asked for), and to charge the plan you chose.

If you gave us a phone number under the calls-and-texts disclosure, we may call or text you about your search and about the product. Reply STOP to any text, or tell us in any message, and we stop.

We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not use it to advertise anything to you or to anyone else.

3The model that reads your record

To write positioning, outreach, briefs and interview preparation, the relevant parts of your record and the job posting are sent to an AI model provider (Anthropic) under terms that prohibit them from training on that data. The product never sends another customer's data alongside yours. Third-party text such as a job posting is fenced as data inside every request so it cannot act as an instruction.

4Who else touches your data

The product runs on a small number of service providers, each for one job:

  • Supabase: the database, authentication and private file storage where your record lives. Resume files sit in a private bucket readable only by you.
  • Vercel: hosting for the application.
  • Anthropic: the AI model that drafts from your record, as described above.
  • Stripe: payment. Your card details go to Stripe directly and never pass through us.
  • Resend: delivery of the product's own emails to you.
  • Unipile: the LinkedIn connection partner, only if you connect an account; it holds the session you create on its page, and we hold only a reference to it.
  • PostHog: product analytics, recorded server-side.
  • Public job boards and a page reader: read for job postings and companies' own public pages. Nothing about you is sent to them.

5How long we keep it, and how to delete it

We keep your data while you have an account. Delete my account in Settings removes everything at once: it cancels an active plan, releases your LinkedIn connection, deletes your resume files and erases your record and pipeline. Stripe keeps the payment records the law requires it to keep.

If you only ran the free audit and never created an account, the audit request is kept so the link we emailed you keeps working. Reply to that email and ask, and we delete it.

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the data we hold about you, or for a correction. We answer by hand from the address on any email we have sent you.

6Cookies

The product sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and nothing else. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers and no third-party pixels on any page.

7Security

Every record is tied to your account and protected by row-level security in the database, so one customer's queries cannot return another customer's rows. Resume files are stored privately and served only to you. Secrets never reach the browser. Payment and webhook traffic from Stripe is signature-verified. No system is perfectly secure, and if we ever learn that your data was exposed we will tell you promptly and plainly.

8Age

TechSalesNow is for adults looking for work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, tell us and we will delete it.

9Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the product or by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top is the date of the current version. Questions about your data go to the address on any email we have sent you.
